As you might know Wordpress has released its newest version 2.6 codenamed “Tyner” after jazz pianist McCoy Tyner. They have fixed 194 bugs which appeared in 2.5 and added several new features worth having a look at. Here are some of the most interesing (at least for me ) :

Theme Previews!: See it before your audience does
Post Revisions: Wiki-like tracking of edits
Press This!: Post from wherever you are on the web
Word count: Never guess how many words are in your post anymore.
Image captions: so you can add sweet captions like Political Ticker does under your images.

Zemanta is a platform which (almost) automatic makes your blog content reacher, adds pics and links to text. That’s all in short
For now it works on any OS which runs Firefox as long as you use Wordpress.com, Blogger.com, Typepad.com bloging services and self-hosted Wordpress from v2.0 on.
It suggests related articles from around 300 top media sources and numerous blogs and suitable photos Wikimedia Commons, Flickr and various stock photo providers. It also automaticly links stuff to wikipedia and few other sites.
