I didn’t know, did you? Apple QuickTake

I was amazed when I discovered that Apple released one of the first digital cameras. 8O It was called QuickTake and it was released in year 1994. When I hear this kind of stuff, i think something like: “Wooow, they were really beforehand time!!”
Just remember what was it like with Newton. ~They made a PDA in time when no one was even dreaming about portable computers and touchscreens…
Apple QuickTake

Their goal was to make “easy-to-use” digital camera which can easily be synced with apple (and later m$ windoz) computer. You were able to edit picture with some kind of pre-iPhoto program. Earlier models (100, 150) were made in cooperation with Kodak, but QT 200 was made with Fuji. You can imagine that it wasn’t really successful… people prefered cameras from companies which associated with photography

Here are specifications of all versions of QuickTake

Halloween euphoria

And here it comes.
They call it Halloween in America.
We call “dan mrtvih” (day of deceased).

Both holidays have may things in common. They are both very commercial. Halloween unconcealably commercial by itself. But as Had already said its “dan mrtvih” also very commercial. But in other way.

Halloween its all about fun (from my perspective). Fun, sweets and masks. Its easy. You buy everything what comes by. And you also make crapy pumpkin which rots in few days. And that’s it.

What’s different in Slo? “Dan mrtvih” is day on which you have to remember deceased ones and your relatives which passed away. Em… No one said, that you HAVE TO, but you should (otherwise grannies will hate you and name you heretic). And why do I hate it? Intention its more “covered”. Everyone almost don’t gives a shit about dead ones though year, but than suddenly they want to make up for whole year in past and in advance. Graves suddenly becomes full of flowers and candles. And they even compete with their neighbours who have more tidy-widy grave. I’ll never say that it’s this spoiled in general, actually its better to do it once a year than never, but somehow just isn’t right. Spoiled is if you do it because of the leaving ones instead of those who actually deserve care.

Maybe has this became spitting over customs of some people whose relatives has died…. But NO! If they are so attentive, they should care about deceased ones through whole year. And no, I’m not making laugh out of those who died. I despise those who could, but they don’t do anything.
And who am i blaming? Florist, and candles dealers :D
Anyway… I hate how commercial has this holiday became… Let people do whatever they want.

(I hope that GreenPeace supports me :D Later in November when those candles burns out there remains a peace of bunt plastic which is usually blown away everywhere around graveyard except in bin. (grannies can take care of bringing it, but their back can’t carry banding when its necessary to pick it up and throw it away -> in bin, not in nearest ditch!))

Happy holidays!

Ok, everything is going on. We got back first tests, and they aren’t bad at all :D Em… They also aren’t perfect :D I have 4 marks till now. All are 3s :D Those are certainly stimulative marks (for further learning - more of it :D )

So, the thing which reminded me to write about school is tomorrow’s school timetable. IT SUX!
We have triple block hours! For those who don’t know what block hour is - double hour of some subject.
And we have triple block hours!!! Double math, double slovene and double history… GRRR
BORING!!!! I’ll probably solve some sudokus or crosswords during the lessons :D

I’ll report how did it ended. :)
Uh! I almost forgot! Holidays are almost here.

This is song which is always in my mind those days1 :D

And don’t forget kids! Elephants shit is huge!
