Yeah, it’s been lot of talking about it those days I’ll just try to summarize:
Zemanta is a platform which (almost) automatic makes your blog content reacher, adds pics and links to text. That’s all in short
For now it works on any OS which runs Firefox as long as you use Wordpress.com, Blogger.com, Typepad.com bloging services and self-hosted Wordpress from v2.0 on.
It suggests related articles from around 300 top media sources and numerous blogs and suitable photos Wikimedia Commons, Flickr and various stock photo providers. It also automaticly links stuff to wikipedia and few other sites.

Youtube is mainstream these days… One of these giant web 2.0 pages which became popular because of simplicity and speed of working.
Portal itself its awesome. Clean, easy to use, it has integrated Googles searching system.
Yes, it’s cool because is meant to work at 1mbps… But it has some major mistakes…. huge ones. (especially today, in times of HD)
Problem is at videos content itself.
Video codec sux… big time! Can you see all those shitty cubes at edges of anything that moves?
And also this foolish encoding to improve and prevent deformation of picture…

So I decided to from now on use Vimeo, which beats youtube in most categories.
Best of all (for me) is that it doesn’t squash resolution of video to 320*240 and has better encoding
So, here is my test video (presentation of ancient Sparta) which was made for history class (this is why is in slovenian language)

We went around again This time, we went to Divaca to see a exhibition of Nikios friend. After exhibition we went to Skocjanske jame park, where started raining, so i didnt make many pictures….

Gotovo ste ža kdaj videli kakšno reklamo za žvečilne gumije, čigume, žvečilke… kakor vam paše. Ponavadi na vrhuncu reklame glavna oseba iz žepa zvleče paket žvečilk in si popolnoma elegantno, brez muke na dlan strese dve. Hmmm… v reklami to že izgleda super in mogoče, pa je sploh izvedljivo? Dopoldan sem imel nekaj (beri: veliko) časa, nobene boljše ideje kaj napisati na blog, in odločil sem se da stvar preizkusim, saj ponavadi žvečilke iz paketa stavim na …. manj eleganten način

Paketi žvečilk pač niso narejeni za “elegantno” serviranje, čeprav se mi je enkrat posrečilo da sta padla ven dva… Če je paket odprt pravilno, kot v reklami, padejo ven vsi. Nič novega
