It always comes to an argue when it When one of my friends come up with something related to computers. Even if my current computer is a pc I’m more mac type person. And this is what stars an argue. I’m more on the side of practical, nice well designed, compact, wireless macs when my friends more prefer raw brutal power of uncivilized unrationally ugly packed pc with high tech super duper sli graphics, gazillion cores and huuuuge vents on top which cools the water radiator which is part of water cooling system which is cooling the processor which is tuned up to provide even more raw brutal powaa to run the fucking games faster… and it weights a billion million tones… and it has 4 power supplying cables and a monitor cable and dsl connection (internet) cable and so on and on and on…
Do you get what I’m trying to say? I do not play games! I mostly use like five programs. And that would be Photoshop, Lightroom, Bs player, Firefox and uTorrent. I don’t need that brutal power. Why on mac you say? I want them to run well!
Emmm, ok… that’s not completely true… I occasionally do play games but only because i can, not because i’ll have a need to play. I can easily live without any 3d generated thing which is not displayed within a internet browser. I mean it.
And you would probably think: “Hey, you could have a ordinary fully wireless all-in-one packed laptop which should fully satisfy your needs,” but no. Since you cant get WinsXp pre-install on new machines (like Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus) unless you want to get all crucial drivers “manually” in which case you’ll need to hunt down every chipset, integrated graphic card, monitor, trackpad, and everything will have some codename like Intel Pxc15489st mark1 Gt ultra black-edition or someting…
So, since (and happily ever after) desktop pcs are passe, vista is sucky and touchpadAnd as long as Photoshop isn’t available for any other platform than Wins or Mac doesn’t work without drivers my choice(about next computer) will be and stay Mac. Portable mac. Some kind of Macbook And if not laptop, than at least iMac
