I was into internet radios about year ago when I found out that I don’t need do have gazillions of gigabytes of music on my computer because there’s a lot of music online on sites like Last.fm or SkreemR. Than I got iPod and I started to download everything. Mostly discographys :D It’s quite cool to have like 20gB but you can’t really pick the music you like randomly… Even if I just open iTunes you have to be present and pick songs I like.

And than few days ago I found something what somehow changed my mind :) Xfm online radio!
xfm internet radio
I don’t want to be sleezy but, I haven’t found any other internet radio which will roll my favorite music constantly! :)
In a few minutes I heard few of my favorites songs from Foo Fighters, Zutons, Weezer, Kaiser Chiefs, U2 and more :P And I found some great other bands as well :P Best of all is the DJ. Mostly he’s quiet but when he say something it’s funny and cool :D Recomended ;)

Than I checked wikipedia and elsewhere on web what others say about them :) I found that XFM has been going since 1997 serving alternative rock/indie to London, UK. Its cool because they also offer various music news, podcasts, gig tickets and of course the online radio itself. :)
And if you would like something more… personal, i suggest you Mi-Xif which is Xfm’s internet service (online radio player) which allows you to create your own personalised Xfm.

As I said I’m totally enthusiastic about this, because it brings some kind of freshness and tidiness in world of internet radios :) Internet radios 2.0, baby!

I just found my good old box with tons of LEGO bricks inside :) It was wonderful how all those nice memories came out and I saw all “unfinished projects” which were lying inside the box. In the moment I also remembered all structures I made and those which I wanted to :D I see that Lego almost every month releases new set of Lego’s, but none of them are… “hardcore classic” like those which were available when I was in “Lego years:) They’ve came in also every blockbuster movie edition like Star Wars1, or Indiana Jones, but surprisingly they didn’t loose any “legoness” they had 10 years ago in previous releases.
I like to see what people are making with those bricks. Sometimes it’s…. marvelus :D
I also like to see some unusual things that people people make with LEGO bricks :) Like this one or this:

Or some fan lego movies like this:

Eddie Izzard – Death Star Canteen

Few days ago I was surfing around the web, and I found some fun facts about golf, which I would like to share with you1 ;)

  • Early shepherds may have used their curved staffs to hit stones in a simple game of “golf” as early as 2,000 years ago.
  • A more structured version of golf was invented in Scotland nearly 1,000 years ago.
  • The first golf balls were made of thin leather stuffed with feathers. Tightly-packed feathers made balls that flew the farthest. Feather balls were used until 1848.
  • During the 1800s the gutta-percha ball, or “gutty,” replaced the feather-filled ball that had been used for hundreds of years.
  • There are 336 dimples on a regulation golf ball.

Personally I like only minigolf on my mobile phone :D I guess I’m too clumsy to play it. It’s quite expensive to… all this equipment… :D Maybe some day… :D

1 And at same time I’m starting a new weekly topic called “Did you know?”, where I’ll present you some interesting facts about something :)

Mathematical experiment… hoax perhaps

For those which still think that this is kind of “mathe-magical” thing… There’s not such a thing ;)
(i know that this post sounds a bit g33ky but anyway :D )
mathemagic
You might be impressed by that, but as far as i can tell, this is full time hoax. And it doesnt hold trigonometric functions as well. :D Here’s how: (pay attention to ratios between sides)

mathematical hoax mathematical hoax

Summary: Ratios are not the same (3/8 â?  2/5), so hypotenuses aren’t parallel, because there’s angle of 1,24 degree.
So, because hypotenuses aren’t parallel, there becomes exactly cmÂ? of space :) Wired, huh? :D

More of this and that, here and here :)

P.s.
Gizmo said that it’s noticeably lighter, thiner, more glassy and shiny in white or nigger (black) edition. Camera and screen is absolutely identical to previous, on the other hand it’s almost half a price than previous :) There are still some things missing (as we expected), but ok… this is how Apple does it :D
