We (FotoKrozek) went on a Trip to Venice. We were there at opening opening of 2008’s grand Carnival of Venice :P
I woke up at 5 in the morning :D We “sailed off” from Ilirska Bistrica at 6am, joined a bus of Slo-Foto at 7am and arrived in Venice at 9am. (lot of ams :D )
Trip itself was awesome, and pics…. even better :P After driving trough canals with very interesting public transportation (vaporetto) we visited two nearest islets – Murano and Burano. You probably know Murano because of famous Murano Glass and Burano because of lace and colourful houses :) After “cruising” we came back to the Venice. We sliped through all narrow and crooked streets directly to San Marco’s square. Our free roaming finished there but we stayed there for about 3hours :P It was gorgeous :P :P So much masks and masquerader!!!! Nice :D Ok, i’ll stop now.
Let pictures do the talking ;)

I have new gallery (actually is plugin for it) :P Its so fuckin’ hot :P It’s no3dfx polaroid gallery which is licensed under a Creative Commons 3.0 License what means that source can be modified as long is noncommercial. The one which I use is still “stock” but, but I’m working on some unique modifications :P Coming soon:D So, how to use it? Click on one of pictures to Drag’n'Drop, double click on the polaroids to zoom in. And if you still don’t get it, there is a piece of paper which will tell you just the same :D I know it’s not very usable and that there is many better ways to do it, but i like this one :P

MacBook Air is fully made of aluminum and is ultrathin, ultraportable, ultrawhatever :D It has no optical drive and it’s fully wireless supported. It also has 13inch big glossy display illuminated by led :) Feature of full sized keyboard is that it illuminates when built-in ambient light sensor detects low light. Another great feature of Air is “touchpad on steroids” :D It’s called Trackpad, and it supports multi touch gesture-based input so successful on iPhone and iPod touch. You can pinch, swipe, or rotate to zoom in on text, advance through a photo album, or adjust an image. As I said there is no optical drive, but it supports “superfast” 811.11n wireless connectivity which is by my personal opinion just excuse for selling more movies at iTunes store and losing some milimeters :P It has one fatal flaw, you can’t just crack it open to replace the hard drive, memory or even battery… Dooh!! Europeian price is still unknown but according to american price $1799 it will be around 1220â?? (probably 1799â?? if $:â?? ratio will be 1:1 like at other Apples products in Slovenia)

I didn’t know, did you? Apple QuickTake

I was amazed when I discovered that Apple released one of the first digital cameras. 8O It was called QuickTake and it was released in year 1994. When I hear this kind of stuff, i think something like: “Wooow, they were really beforehand time!!”
Just remember what was it like with Newton. ~They made a PDA in time when no one was even dreaming about portable computers and touchscreens…
Apple QuickTake

Their goal was to make “easy-to-use” digital camera which can easily be synced with apple (and later m$ windoz) computer. You were able to edit picture with some kind of pre-iPhoto program. Earlier models (100, 150) were made in cooperation with Kodak, but QT 200 was made with Fuji. You can imagine that it wasn’t really successful… people prefered cameras from companies which associated with photography

Here are specifications of all versions of QuickTake

Growin’

What do I want to become? In what kind of person do I want do grow in? We never know how will it play out. I’m sure that everyone is bothering with this question while growing up… Lot of things have influence on peoples “development”. It starts with upbringing by parents. It shapes our personality and defines habits, reactions, etc…
Second stage is environment. Friends, medias, idols…
Than education comes in. For first time it completely depends on us. And is probably most important. You can deny it as much as you can, but it’s true.
And than you’re grown up. After you hopefully finish formal education. And what’s difference between child and adult? Adults are serious. And if you’re serious, it means that you don’t make mistakes.
So here it comes creativity. What creativity really is? Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Because you will never come up with something creative if you won’t be prepared to be wrong.
As Sir Ken Robinson said, school DO kills creativity! Yes, it makes you frightening to being wrong.
And i can prove it -At photography for example. You probably won’t get any good pic if you’ll stick to center placed motive or basic angle of view…
~Back to school. At this time when I’m still student of first grade of high school I don’t have to choose what do I want to be yet. But I’ll have to -> really soon :D I don’t know exactly what I’m gonna be, but I’m sure I’ll be designer, architect or something like it :P Hopefuly
